On 7 June 2023, VNG International successfully organized a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) workshop at the Duhok Governorate GIS Centre. This workshop, held as part of the LOGOReP/SDLG programmes, brought together representatives from Duhok Governorate, Erbil Governorate, and Telkaif Mayoralty. The event provided a platform for these governorates to share their experiences, insights, and best practices in the field of GIS, fostering collaboration and mutual learning.

The GIS workshop featured four captivating presentations delivered by the GIS centres of each respective governorate. These presentations delved into the practical applications and benefits of GIS technology, while also addressing the challenges encountered with working with the GIS systems.

The event proved to be an invaluable opportunity for collaboration and knowledge exchange, fostering a spirit of cooperation and innovation among the participating governorates.
