The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the institutional strengthening of the National School of Government (NSG) and the professionalisation of the South African public service through training and development initiatives.
The achievement of the overall objective will be supported through the realisation of the project purpose which is to contribute to the institutional strengthening of the NSG through provision of technical support and capacity building interventions to enable it to fulfil its mandate.
The expected results of the project are:
Result 1: NSG is strengthened as a training institution operating in a more efficient manner.
Result 2: The BB2E (Breaking Barriers to Entry (induction) Programme), CIP (Compulsory Induction Programme) and ROP (Reorientation Programme) training programmes are rolled out at high volume effectively
Result 3: NSG is strategically positioned within networks and in collaboration with particular partnerships because of the expertise provided to enhance communication and leveraging opportunities
