Global objective: <br />
Revitalise and operationalise the provincial Conseil Consultatif de Résolution des Conflits Coutumiuers in South Kivu.<br />
More specifically, this mission aims to: <br />

- Inform, sensitise and mobilise customary chiefs on the CCRCC and its role in the resolution of customary conflicts across South Kivu Province. <br />

- To popularise the legal texts relating to the exercise of customary power and the settlement of related conflicts. <br />
<br />
The TRIDE project aims to improve food security and integrated water resource management in 137 villages of 8 chefferies in North and South Kivu. In addition to promoting good governance at the local level, with a view to addressing the root causes of inter-ethnic conflicts, problems of insecurity (armed groups) and other forms of harassment for a harmonious and sustainable development of the local economy will also be aspects of the project.<br />

The ESPER project aims to improve the living and security conditions of the population in Ituri, North Kivu and South Kivu. ESPER targets more than 2,500,000 people, who will benefit from the improvement of the security situation through the action of the authorities and communities supported by the project.<br />

1. The performance and quality of justice administration services are improved, enabling equitable and accessible justice for the entire population (women, young women, men, young men, children, marginalized and at-risk groups).<br />
Gender equality is nothing but an idea if not put into practice. I understood that quite quickly after having started working. Gender equality cannot be reduced to a concept, a buzz term, or a bullet point on our checklists, it should be a reality.
The programme aims to realize the following long term change: <br />
Reinforced, inclusive and resilient communities with an empowered civil society, positively influence governance and transparency of decentralized entities; they work together with others (CDM) to resolve conflicts and to assure inclusion of youth, women and marginalized groups; they assure inclusive and equitable access to sustainable livelihoods, especially for youth, women and marginalized groups and they will thus stabilize the intervention zone.<br />
